# Why can’t I approve pending affiliates?

## Affiliate program limitation: when you can no longer add new affiliates

An affiliate program can’t accept more affiliates when:

- the affiliate program is in **budget lock** → the account must be recharged in order to approve more affiliates;
- when affiliate program is in status **inactive** - account has been suspended and it requires to go trough the onboarding process (ask for more details from an 2Performant representative);

Number of active affiliates within a program has no limit, so new collaboration invites can be send out at all times and also affiliates can apply to your program constantly.

 

The number of invitations available within an affiliate program is limited, this is designed by the subscription plan and it is monthly renewed.
