First steps for beginners](https://support.2performant.com/for-affiliates?hsLang=en#1-first-steps-for-beginners) # How to apply to an affiliate program? ## Navigating the Affiliate Programs Directory: How to Filter and Choose the Right Programs to Promote Choosing the right affiliate programs you want to promote is very important. To apply to an affiliate program, go to the section  [**Merchants \> Merchant ranking.**](https://businessleague.2performant.com/affiliate/programs/) ***There is no maximum campaign limit at which you can apply.*** *However, our suggestion is that affiliates apply to relevant campaigns that they can send traffic to.* In the programs directory you can filter all affiliate programs by: - **Category** - the category affiliate programs belong to; - **Country** - selling countries; - **Payment type** - pre paid or post paid; - **Traffic source** - Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Cashbacks etc. You can also choose to view only the programs you haven’t applied yet by selecting *‘Only not applied’*. Once you’ve identified a relevant program, proceed by clicking the ***‘Apply’*** button. ![merchant ranking](https://support.2performant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/merchant%20ranking.png?width=688&height=314&name=merchant%20ranking.png) You can see the status of the programs you have applied to by going to: **[Merchants \> My merchants.](https://businessleague.2performant.com/affiliate/my-merchants/all/)** The programs can be filter by status: - **Pending** - waiting for approval; - **Approved** - affiliate programs you have already been accepted to; - **Banned** - affiliate programs that you have been blocked from; - **Pending Ban** - affiliate programs that will block you; - **Pending Remove** - affiliate programs where you will be removed from. - **Past merchants** - an affiliate program you are no longer part of. ### Pending merchants invitations will be auto-processed in 15 days.
