Understanding Prepaid Affiliate Programs: Commission Withdrawals and Deposits
Pre paid programs are the ones that are charged with a sum of money, via bank transfer or MobilPay or Direct Debit.
When a commission is recorded, a withdrawn is made from your affiliate program equivalent to the amount of the commission and it will be held by 2Performant with status pending.
If the sale/order is finished and the commission is approved, the commission value will be deposited into the affiliate’s account from 2Performant.
If the order is cancelled and the commission is rejected, the affiliate’s and network’s commissions will be directed back in your advertiser account.
If you have a prepaid program, our recommendation is to charge your account at least once a month and make sure your program has a regular green financial health because it helps in holding you in Business League!
To be listed in Business League, it is necessary to have a funding level of 98%, that is a requirement and that may take you off from the competition.
Once the balance falls under the 0 level, it will automatically be suspended and will activate the Budget Lock status. This status will no longer register new conversions and if this happens will lower affiliates trust in the affiliate program activity. Also, budget lock status can last for 30 days and account is closed or till a new top-up balance is made.
