      What is a commission?

      Commissions in Affiliate Marketing: Understanding the Basics

      A commission is the amount of money that is registered in 2Performant system, in the affiliate’s account, for an action made by a user (sale or lead) that was sent by that particular affiliate on the advertiser’s site.

      The commission is different from one affiliate program to another, but it can be two types: fixed or percentage. A commission requires to be processed by the advertiser (approval or rejection of the commission depending on the purpose of the action).
